Pappadavada is a unique cafeteria offering traditional snacks and ethnic dishes and piping hot tea and coffee at reasonable rates. Located at the heart of M. G. Road it is a standing cafeteria and can accommodate 25 people at a time.
The snacks include a variety of ‘vada’, ‘baji’, ‘suhiyan’ and more. The ethnic food combos include ‘Shappu-style meen curry with Kappa’, ‘kanji- payar’, ‘Idiyappam & Kadala curry’ and the list goes on.
The price ranges from Rs. 4 to Rs. 80. It is opened from 8:30 AM to 23:55 PM IST. They also provide free home delivery within 3 kms (including M.G.Road, Chittoor Road, and Market Road).
The brain behind “Pappadavada” is Mrs. Minu Pauline, a former Bank employee. She is also planning to start a retail fish store ‘meenchatty’.
