Bimbis is a fast food vegetarian restaurant located close to the Ernakulam Junction Railway station. 

The restaurant can accommodate at least 40 people easily and offers a large variety of foods both North and South Indian Foods at very reasonable rates. 

North Indian Meals are available from 12:00 AM to 10:00 PM and South Indian Meals from 11:00 AM to 03:00 PM. 

It’s proximity to the railway station, makes it possible for travellers to drop-in at the restaurant.

Hot Breads is a fast food restaurant located near M. G. Road. The food at Hot breads appears simple, but the flavours have remarkable depth. It is known best for its range of pastries, including apple, blueberry, rhubarb, and peach, and the reputation is well deserved.

A host of other goodies, including rolls and many veg and non-veg delicacy lined on the shelves, offering something for the whole family. All the items are prepared in a kitchen which is separated from the shop by a transparent glass, allowing you to see the working of a bakery kitchen, where all the chefs are well dressed, it also assures you of the quality as the items are prepared in front of your eyes.

Here the customer has to first select from the wide range of items all lined in a beautiful way which makes you hungrier, after the payment the customer can move to the adjoining place where tables and chairs are arranged so the customer can dine in there.

The shop is both clean and tidy - despite having limited space and more customers than can fit inside at one time - and all the staff members there greeted my companions and me with smiles as sweet as the pastries they serve there.

Pappadavada an ethnic tea shop

Pappadavada is a unique cafeteria offering traditional snacks and ethnic dishes and piping hot tea and coffee at reasonable rates. Located at the heart of M. G. Road it is a standing cafeteria and can accommodate 25 people at a time.

The snacks include a variety of ‘vada’, ‘baji’, ‘suhiyan’ and more. The ethnic food combos include ‘Shappu-style meen curry with Kappa’, ‘kanji- payar’, ‘Idiyappam & Kadala curry’ and the list goes on.
